HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOL UTION NO. 115
BY REPRESENTATIVE TARVER AND SENATOR AB RAHAM
A CONCURRENT RESOL UTION
To commend the Barbe High School girls' golf team on winning the Louisiana High School
Athletic Association 2021 Division I state championship.
WHEREAS, the Barbe girls' golf team dominated the field at Les Vieux Chenes Golf
Course in Youngsville, Louisiana, to capture the Division I girls' state golf title; and
WHEREAS, the Bucs finished twenty-nine strokes ahead of the runner-up team from
Dutchtown; and
WHEREAS, the team was comprised of sophomores Isabella Bradley and Isabella
Callaba and junior Sadie Guillory; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Bradley finished with a two-day total of one hundred sixty-four
strokes; Ms. Callaba finished with one hundred seventy-seven strokes; and Ms. Guillory
finished with two hundred strokes; and
WHEREAS, the Barbe High School girls' golf team is most deserving of recognition
for their impressive, title-winning performance at the Division I state golf championship.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby
commend the Barbe High School girls' golf team on winning the Louisiana High School
Athletic Association 2021 Division I state championship; does hereby recognize
Ms. Bradley, Ms. Callaba, and Ms. Guillory for their amazing performances; and does
hereby extend sincere hopes that they enjoy similar success next golf season.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the
principal of Barbe High School.
