HLS 21RS-3643 ORIGINAL 2021 Regular Session HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOL UTION NO. 123 BY REPRESENTATIVE DEVILLIER AND SENATOR HENSGENS CONDOLENCES: Expresses the condolences of the Legislature of Louisiana on the death of Quinon Odell "Homeboy" Pitre 1 A CONCURRENT RESOL UTION 2To express the condolences of the Legislature of Louisiana on the death of Quinon Odell 3 "Homeboy" Pitre. 4 WHEREAS, it is with profound sorrow and immense regret that the members of the 5legislature have learned of the death, on April 20, 2021, of Quinon Odell "Homeboy" Pitre; 6and 7 WHEREAS, Quinon Odell Pitre was born on May 30, 1989, to Ellis Pitre and Carol 8Williams Pitre; and 9 WHEREAS, Quinon was an avid outdoorsman, a loving father, and a true friend; he 10leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Emma Claire Pitre and Alyssa Jo Pitre; brother, 11Pat Pitre, and his wife, Donna; sisters, Misty Pitre, and her companion Kevin Blanchard, 12Kim Smith, and her husband Craig, Jo Lynn Vacarro, and her husband Dominic, LaRee 13Sanchez, and her husband Johnny, Tina Chovanetz, and her husband Kevin, Roxanne 14Venable, and Rhonda Pitre; godchildren, Katelynn Pitre and Nora Smith; and numerous 15extended family members and friends; and 16 WHEREAS, Quinon Pitre will be remembered for his contagious friendly 17disposition, his humility, and his unrelenting devotion to his family and friends; he will be 18deeply missed, but his memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and 19loved him. 20 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby 21express heartfelt condolences on the death of Quinon Odell "Homeboy" Pitre and does Page 1 of 2 HLS 21RS-3643 ORIGINAL HCR NO. 123 1hereby extend sincere wishes that his family and friends find comfort during this extremely 2difficult time. 3 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the 4family of Quinon Odell "Homeboy" Pitre.
