HEALTH/LDH: Requests a study by the La. Department of Health concerning the impact
of COVID-19 on the public sector workforce of this state
Synopsis of Senate Amendments
1.Provides that the Department of Economic Development and La. Workforce
Commission, in addition to the La. Department of Health, are tasked with
conducting the study requested in the Resolution and reporting findings of the
study to the legislature.
2.Authorizes the La. Department of Health, Department of Economic
Development, and La. Workforce Commission to consult with other
departments, boards, agencies, officers, and institutions of the state which may
have data or other information that will add value to the study requested in the
Resolution.
