COMMENDATIONS: Commends Sergeant Kelly Carrone on the occasion of her
retirement from the Hammond Police Department
1 A RESOLUTION
2To commend Sergeant Kelly Carrone on the occasion of her retirement from the Hammond
3 Police Department.
4 WHEREAS, Sergeant Carrone has dedicated her career to the protection of her
5community; she is a twenty-eight-year veteran of the Hammond Police Department; and
6 WHEREAS, Sergeant Carrone began her career as a communications officer before
7being promoted to a police officer role; and
8 WHEREAS, as a police officer, Sergeant Carrone served stints as a part of the
9Hammond Police Department's Uniform Patrol, Juvenile, and Detective Division; and
10 WHEREAS, Sergeant Carrone has faithfully carried out her duties as a peace officer
11for the Hammond Police Department and is most deserving of recognition for dedicating
12twenty-eight years to the protection of her city.
13 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
14Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Sergeant Kelly Carrone on the occasion of
15her retirement from the Hammond Police Department; does hereby recognize her selfless
16service to the city of Hammond and the state of Louisiana as a law enforcement officer; and
17does hereby extend sincere hopes that she enjoy a well-earned retirement.
18 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
19Sergeant Kelly Carrone.
