HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 128

A RESOLUTION
To commend Sergeant Kelly Carrone on the occasion of her retirement from the Hammond
Police Department.
WHEREAS, Sergeant Carrone has dedicated her career to the protection of her
community; she is a twenty-eight-year veteran of the Hammond Police Department; and
WHEREAS, Sergeant Carrone began her career as a communications officer before
being promoted to a police officer role; and
WHEREAS, as a police officer, Sergeant Carrone served stints as a part of the
Hammond Police Department's Uniform Patrol, Juvenile, and Detective Division; and
WHEREAS, Sergeant Carrone has faithfully carried out her duties as a peace officer
for the Hammond Police Department and is most deserving of recognition for dedicating
twenty-eight years to the protection of her city.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Sergeant Kelly Carrone on the occasion of
her retirement from the Hammond Police Department; does hereby recognize her selfless
service to the city of Hammond and the state of Louisiana as a law enforcement officer; and
does hereby extend sincere hopes that she enjoy a well-earned retirement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
Sergeant Kelly Carrone.
