COMMENDATIONS: Commends the members and volunteers of the 2021 Concerned
Women for America of Louisiana's Encourage-A-Legislator Project
1 A RESOLUTION
2To commend the members and volunteers of the 2021 Concerned Women for America of
3 Louisiana's Encourage-A-Legislator Project.
4 WHEREAS, Concerned Women for America is a legislative action committee whose
5mission is to protect and promote biblical values and constitutional principles through
6prayer, education, and advocacy; the committee's vision is to lead a movement dedicated to
7Christian causes through education and public policy; and
8 WHEREAS, Concerned Women for America's Prayer/Action Chapters help to give
9its members a voice in their communities by meeting regularly to encourage informed prayer
10and action for our nation and its leaders; and
11 WHEREAS, the Prayer/Action Chapters educate Christian members on issues that
12affect Concerned Women for America's biblically-based standards; and
13 WHEREAS, on May 27, 2021, Concerned Women for America of Louisiana's
14Encourage-A-Legislator volunteers will be visiting the capitol to meet and engage with
15legislators; and
16 WHEREAS, Concerned Women for America of Louisiana's Encourage-A-Legislator
17volunteers are most deserving of recognition for their active participation in state politics and
18government and for exercising their right to discuss and support legislation for which they
19are passionate.
20 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
21Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend the members and volunteers of the 2021

1Concerned Women for America of Louisiana's Encourage-A-Legislator Project and does
2hereby extend sincere hopes that they continue to actively participate in state government.
3 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the
4coordinator of the 2021 Concerned Women for America of Louisiana's Encourage-A-
5Legislator Project.
