HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 134

A RESOLUTION
To commend the members and volunteers of the 2021 Concerned Women for America of
Louisiana's Encourage-A-Legislator Project.
WHEREAS, Concerned Women for America is a legislative action committee whose
mission is to protect and promote biblical values and constitutional principles through
prayer, education, and advocacy; the committee's vision is to lead a movement dedicated to
Christian causes through education and public policy; and
WHEREAS, Concerned Women for America's Prayer/Action Chapters help to give
its members a voice in their communities by meeting regularly to encourage informed prayer
and action for our nation and its leaders; and
WHEREAS, the Prayer/Action Chapters educate Christian members on issues that
affect Concerned Women for America's biblically-based standards; and
WHEREAS, on May 27, 2021, Concerned Women for America of Louisiana's
Encourage-A-Legislator volunteers will be visiting the capitol to meet and engage with
legislators; and
WHEREAS, Concerned Women for America of Louisiana's Encourage-A-Legislator
volunteers are most deserving of recognition for their active participation in state politics and
government and for exercising their right to discuss and support legislation for which they
are passionate.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend the members and volunteers of the 2021
Concerned Women for America of Louisiana's Encourage-A-Legislator Project and does
hereby extend sincere hopes that they continue to actively participate in state government.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the
coordinator of the 2021 Concerned Women for America of Louisiana's Encourage-A-
Legislator Project.
