CONDOLENCES: Expresses condolences on the death of Bobby Wayne Charrier
1 A RESOLUTION
2To express the condolences of the House of Representatives upon the death of Bobby
3 Wayne Charrier of Delhi.
4 WHEREAS, it is with immense sadness and profound regret that the House of
5Representatives has learned of the death of Bobby Wayne Charrier of Delhi, Louisiana; and
6 WHEREAS, Bobby was born to the union of Sam and Eva Charrier and remained
7a lifelong resident of Delhi; and
8 WHEREAS, Mr. Charrier was an employee of Pepper Oil and an accomplished
9mechanic; he also worked for many years at B.E. Pickett Cattle Co., and made many lifelong
10friends during this time; and
11 WHEREAS, Mr. Charrier cherished traveling with his family, especially to
12Colorado; he was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for working and hunting; he loved
13eating out with family and friends and going to the camp with his buddy, Francis; and
14 WHEREAS, Mr. Charrier was also a man of great faith and a member of Delhi First
15Baptist Church; his death leaves an empty place in a network of family and close friends;
16and
17 WHEREAS, Mr. Charrier leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of fifty-eight
18years, Brenda Lynn Charrier; his daughters, Amy Lynn Charrier and Beth Ann Powell, and
19her husband Trent; his grandchildren, Sara Katherine Stephan, Mason Scott Powell, and
20Taylee Jane Knight; his sister, Evanette Richards; and his many dear lifelong friends; he will
21be deeply missed.

1 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
2Legislature of Louisiana does hereby express heartfelt condolences on the death of Bobby
3Wayne Charrier of Delhi and does hereby extend sincere hopes and wishes that his family
4and friends find comfort in their memories during this difficult time.
5 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the
6family of Bobby Wayne Charrier.
