COMMENDATIONS: Commends the East Beauregard Elementary School faculty and staff
for their dedication to their students and positive impact on their community

2To commend the East Beauregard Elementary School faculty and staff for their dedication
3 to their students and positive impact on their community.
4 WHEREAS, the COVID-19 pandemic challenged the faculty, staff, and students of
5East Beauregard Elementary School throughout the past academic year; they stepped up and
6met the challenge head-on, choosing to continue in-person classes; and
7 WHEREAS, the faculty and staff play an important role in the lives of their students
8and provide them with the fundamental skills needed to achieve success in both school and
9life; and
10 WHEREAS, the faculty and staff nurture, inspire, and encourage their students; they
11also help facilitate the students' academic, social, and emotional development; and
12 WHEREAS, despite the extenuating circumstances of the pandemic, the faculty and
13staff have worked tirelessly to accommodate their students' most basic needs while also
14providing for their continued education; and
15 WHEREAS, the teachers have devoted countless hours to the preparation of lesson
16plans and delivery of instruction, and they have maintained the development of character,
17compassion, and creativity in their students; and
18 WHEREAS, the faculty and staff are most deserving of respect and gratitude for their
19relentless dedication to their students and positive impact on their community.
20 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
21Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend the East Beauregard Elementary School

1faculty and staff for their dedication to their students and positive impact on their
2community; does hereby recognize the East Beauregard Elementary School faculty and staff
3for overcoming the immense pressure placed on educators by the COVID-19 pandemic; and
4does hereby extend sincere hopes that they continue to succeed in their amazing work as
5architects of Louisiana's future leaders.
6 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the
7principal of East Beauregard Elementary School.
