CONDOLENCES: Expresses condolences on the death of Kori Gauthier
1 A RESOLUTION
2To express the condolences of the House of Representatives upon the death of Kori Monet
3 Gauthier.
4 WHEREAS, it is with immense sadness and profound regret that the House of
5Representatives has learned of the death of Kori Gauthier; and
6 WHEREAS, Ms. Gauthier was a student at Louisiana State University majoring in
7education; she also worked as a dance instructor at a studio in Arnaudville, Louisiana; and
8 WHEREAS, Kori is remembered for her vibrant personality and giving nature; she
9loved teaching children how to dance and will be remembered by many as the sweetest
10person one could ever meet; and
11 WHEREAS, Ms. Gauthier is survived by her parents, Misti Ravare and Lavar
12Gauthier; her brothers, Philip Comeaux, Cameron Gauthier, and Mekhi Hammond; her
13sisters, Taylor Gauthier and Laila Gauthier; a special friend, Tyler Toussaint; and a host of
14other relatives and friends; and
15 WHEREAS, Kori Gauthier will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the
16hearts and minds of all who knew and loved her.
17 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
18Legislature of Louisiana does hereby express heartfelt condolences on the death of Kori
19Monet Gauthier.
20 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the
21family of Kori Gauthier.
