ENROLLED 2021 Regular Session HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 35 BY REPRESENTATIVE DUSTIN MILLER A RESOLUTION To express the condolences of the House of Representatives upon the death of Kori Monet Gauthier. WHEREAS, it is with immense sadness and profound regret that the House of Representatives has learned of the death of Kori Gauthier; and WHEREAS, Ms. Gauthier was a student at Louisiana State University majoring in education; she also worked as a dance instructor at a studio in Arnaudville, Louisiana; and WHEREAS, Kori is remembered for her vibrant personality and giving nature; she loved teaching children how to dance and will be remembered by many as the sweetest person one could ever meet; and WHEREAS, Ms. Gauthier is survived by her parents, Misti Ravare and Lavar Gauthier; her brothers, Philip Comeaux, Cameron Gauthier, and Mekhi Hammond; her sisters, Taylor Gauthier and Laila Gauthier; a special friend, Tyler Toussaint; and a host of other relatives and friends; and WHEREAS, Kori Gauthier will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts and minds of all who knew and loved her. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby express heartfelt condolences on the death of Kori Monet Gauthier.
