COMMENDATIONS: Commends the 2019-2020 royal court of the Tangipahoa Parish
Sheriff's Rodeo
1 A RESOLUTION
2To commend the 2019-2020 royal court of the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Rodeo.
3 WHEREAS, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office Mounted Division is a volunteer
4organization that consists of deputies who offer their time, energy, vehicles, and horses to
5serve Tangipahoa Parish and the surrounding area; and
6 WHEREAS, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Rodeo, which is sanctioned by the
7Professional Cowboy Association, was established in 2011 as a fundraiser to assist the
8volunteer deputies with the costs associated with providing these services to the community;
9and
10 WHEREAS, the volunteer deputies and their equine partners host the Tangipahoa
11Parish Sheriff's Rodeo every September; and
12 WHEREAS, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Rodeo pageant was established in 2016
13and features five age divisions; the 2019-2020 royal court members are Miss Queen, Scarlet
14Brantley; Teen Miss Queen, Kaylee Sharp; Deb Miss Queen, Gentry Giacone; Little Miss
15Queen, Marley Wildey; and Petite Miss Queen, Kaylee Sundo; these talented young women
16reign as the 2019-2020 Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Rodeo royal court, and they are most
17deserving of recognition.
18 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
19Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend the 2019-2020 royal court of the Tangipahoa
20Parish Sheriff's Rodeo; does hereby recognize the volunteer deputies of the Tangipahoa
21Parish Sheriff's Office Mounted Division for their service and dedication to the citizens of

1the parish; and does hereby extend sincere wishes for the continued prosperity of the 2019-
22020 royal court members and the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office Mounted Division.
3 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to each
4member of the 2019-2020 royal court of the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Rodeo.
