COMMENDATIONS: Commends the Northside Christian High School softball team on
winning the Louisiana High School Athletic Association 2021 Division V state
championship
1 A RESOLUTION
2To commend the Northside Christian High School softball team on winning the Louisiana
3 High School Athletic Association 2021 Division V state championship.
4 WHEREAS, the Lady Warriors of Northside Christian High School captured the
5Division V state title with a dominant 13-1 victory over Claiborne Christian; and
6 WHEREAS, the Lady Warriors were led on the field by senior pitcher Morgan
7Louviere, who was named the title game's Most Outstanding Player; and
8 WHEREAS, Coach Ryan Hanagriff guided the Lady Warriors throughout the season
9as the team's stellar play helped alleviate the pain wrought by the cancellation of last season
10due to the COVID-19 pandemic; and
11 WHEREAS, the Lady Warriors now hold two state titles since 2018 and have played
12in the championship game on five occasions since 2014; and
13 WHEREAS, the Northside Christian High School Lady Warriors softball team is
14most deserving of recognition for its amazing championship season.
15 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
16Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend the Northside Christian High School softball
17team on winning the Louisiana High School Athletic Association 2021 Division V state
18championship; does hereby recognize the perseverance displayed by all members of the team
19throughout this season; and does hereby extend sincere hopes that the coaches and members
20of the team continue to reap the benefits of their hard work.

1 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the
2principal of Northside Christian High School.
