GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATION.  Requires the playing or singing of the national anthem
prior to certain athletic contests. (8/1/21)
1	AN ACT
2 To enact R.S. 4:3, relative to the playing or singing of the national anthem prior to certain
3 athletic contests; to provide for requirements; and to provide for related matters.
4 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
5 Section 1.  R.S. 4:3 is hereby enacted to read as follows:
6 ยง3.  Playing or singing of the national anthem at certain athletic contests
7	No athletic contest may be held in a venue, the construction of which was
8 financed wholly or partially by the state or a political subdivision of the state,
9 unless the contest is preceded by the playing or singing of the national anthem.
