1. Changes name of appointing entity from Greater Alexandria/Pineville
Chamber of Commerce to Central La. Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Present law provides that the Alexandria/Pineville Area Convention and Visitors Bureau will
be composed of seven members appointed as follows:
(1)Two members appointed by the Greater Alexandria/Pineville Chamber of
Commerce.
(2)One member appointed by the CENLA chapter of the Louisiana Restaurant
Association.
(3)Two members appointed by the Alexandria Hotel-Motel Association.
(4)One member appointed by the governing authority of Rapides Parish who will be a
representative of the Coliseum Management.
(5)One member appointed by the Central Louisiana Attractions Associations.
Proposed law changes the Alexandria/Pineville Area Convention and Visitors Bureau board
from a seven-member board to a nine-member board appointed as follows:
(1)One member appointed by the Central La. Regional Chamber of Commerce.
(2)One member appointed by the CENLA chapter of the La. Restaurant Assoc.
(3)Two members appointed by the Alexandria Hotel-Motel Assoc.
(4)Two members appointed by the governing authority of Rapides Parish.
(5)One member appointed by the Central La. Attractions Assoc.
(6)One member appointed by the mayor of Alexandria.
(7)One member appointed by the mayor of Pineville.
