Designates the portion of Louisiana Hwy. 9 from its intersection with Louisiana Highway 2, to its
intersection with United States Highway 167, all in Claiborne Parish, as the "Sheriff Pat Garrett
Memorial Highway".
Designates the portion of Louisiana Hwy. 2 in the Village of Goodwill, outside of the Oak Grove
corporate limits and within West Carroll Parish, beginning at the intersection of Louisiana Hwy. 2
and Louisiana Hwy. 585 east to Louisiana Hwy. 582(Redwing Rd.) is hereby designated as the
"Sheriff T.W. Auger Memorial Highway".
Designates the portion of Louisiana Hwy. 17 in the Village of Kilbourne, outside of the Oak Grove
corporate limits and within West Carroll Parish, beginning at the intersection of Louisiana Hwy. 17
and Parish Rd. 459 (Chop Rd. and Terry Rd.) north to Louisiana Hwy. 585 is hereby designated as
the "Master Trooper Robert Ryan Patrick Memorial Highway".
Designates the portion of Louisiana Highway 2 within Carroll Parish, beginning at the intersection
of Louisiana Highway 2 and Louisiana Highway 582 (Redwing Road) east to Louisiana Highway
597 (Cook Road) is hereby designated as the "Chief Deputy John Earl Peacock Memorial Highway".
Designates the portion of Louisiana Highway 588 beginning in the village of Pioneer, west to its
intersection with Louisiana Highway 585, all in West Carroll Parish, is hereby designated as the
"Deputy Sheriff Jeffery Gathings Memorial Highway".
Directs DOTD to erect and maintain appropriate signs of this designation provided local or private
monies are received by the department equal to the department's actual costs for material, fabrication,
mounting posts, and installation of each sign, not to exceed $550 per sign.
Effective August 1, 2021.
