(8/1/21) 1 AN ACT 2 To provide relative to state highways; to designate the Forked Island Bridge over the 3 Intracoastal Waterway on Louisiana Highway 82 in Vermilion Parish as the "Rose 4 Ashy Broussard Bridge"; and to provide for related matters. 5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana: 6 Section 1. Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, the Forked Island Bridge 7 over the Intracoastal Waterway on Louisiana Highway 82 in Vermilion Parish is hereby 8 designated as the "Rose Ashy Broussard Bridge". 9 Section 2. The Department of Transportation and Development is hereby directed 10 to erect and maintain appropriate signs of this designation provided local or private monies 11 are received by the department equal to the department's actual costs for material, 12 fabrication, mounting posts, and installation of each sign, not to exceed the sum of five 13 hundred fifty dollars per sign.
