1	AN ACT
2 To authorize and provide for the transfer of certain state property; to authorize the transfer
3 of certain state property in Orleans Parish; to provide for the property description;
4 to provide for reservation of mineral rights; to provide terms and conditions; to
5 provide an effective date; and to provide for related matters.
6 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
7 Section 1. The president of the University of Louisiana System, as authorized
8 by the Board of Supervisors for the University of Louisiana System, and the
9 commissioner of administration, notwithstanding any other provision of law to the
10 contrary, are hereby authorized and empowered to convey, transfer, assign, or deliver
11 any interest, excluding mineral rights, the state may have to all or any portion of the
12 following described parcel of property to The Ogden Museum of Southern Art, Inc.:
13	Commence at the intersection of the northerly right-of-way line of
14 Howard Avenue and the westerly right-of-way line of Camp Street, thence along
15 said westerly line of Camp Street, N 13 degrees 48 minutes 48 seconds E, a
16 distance of 127 feet 11 inches 0 eighths to the Point of Beginning; thence N 76
17 degrees 13 minutes 42 seconds W, a distance of 127 feet 10 inches 5 eighths to
18 a point; thence N 16 degrees 33 minutes 33 seconds W, a distance of 9 feet 11
19 inches 0 eighths to a point; thence S 76 degrees 05 minutes 42 seconds E, a
20 distance of 132 feet 10 inches 7 eighths to a point on the westerly right-of-way
21 line of Camp Street; thence along said right-of-way line, S 13 degrees 48
22 minutes 43 seconds W, a distance of 88 feet 11 inches 2 eighths to the Point of

1 Beginning. Containing 11,416 square feet.
2 Section 2. The president of the University of Louisiana System, as authorized
3 by the Board of Supervisors for the University of Louisiana System, and the
4 commissioner of administration are hereby authorized to enter into such agreements,
5 covenants, conditions, and stipulations and to execute such documents as necessary to
6 properly effectuate any conveyance, transfer, assignment, or delivery of title, excluding
7 mineral rights, to the property described in Section 1 of this Act, and as more
8 specifically described in any such agreements entered into and documents executed by
9 and between the president of the University of Louisiana System, the commissioner,
10 and The Ogden Museum of Southern Art, Inc., in exchange for appropriate
11 consideration sufficient to satisfy the provisions of Article VII, Section 14(A) of the
12 Constitution of Louisiana.
13 Section 3. The authorities granted by this Act shall terminate on June 30, 2024.
14 Section 4. This Act shall become effective upon signature by the governor or, if not
15 signed by the governor, upon expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature
16 by the governor, as provided by Article III, Section 18 of the Constitution of Louisiana. If
17 vetoed by the governor and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become
18 effective on the day following such approval.

Louisiana System and the division of administration to The Ogden Museum of Southern Art,
Inc. Provides for the reservation of mineral rights to the state. Terminates the authority to
transfer on June 30, 2024.
Effective upon signature of governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action.
