Present law provides for the Louisiana Behavior Analyst Board (board) including the membership,
officers, meetings, and powers and duties of the board.
Proposed law retains present law.
Present law prohibits a member of the board from serving more than two consecutive complete terms
on the board.
Proposed law retains present law and provides that each member of the board shall be appointed for
a term of 4 years.
Proposed law applies to the terms of the members of the board appointed prior to the effective date
of proposed law.
Effective August 1, 2021.
