COMMENDAT IONS. Commends Tanya Lea Crowe for being crowned Miss Louisiana
USA 2021.
1 A CONCURRENT RESOL UTION
2 To commend Tanya Lea Crowe for being crowned Miss Louisiana USA 2021.
3 WHEREAS, on January 17-18, 2021, Tanya Lea Crowe competed at the Jefferson
4 Performing Arts Center in Metairie, Louisiana, and was crowned Miss Louisiana USA 2021,
5 thereby affording her the opportunity to represent her state both at home and nationally
6 during the coming year; and
7 WHEREAS, Miss Crowe hails from Amite and is the daughter of Talbert and Jody
8 Crowe; and
9 WHEREAS, she is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University where she earned
10 a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in International Business
11 Studies; and
12 WHEREAS, while at Southeastern Louisiana University, Ms. Crowe excelled as a
13 Presidential Scholar and participated in several programs abroad that allowed her to study
14 in Central America, where she focused on international economic growth via renewable
15 energy, medical resources, and technology development companies; and
16 WHEREAS, after graduation from college, Ms. Crowe became a licensed
17 cosmetologist, an owner of her own business, "Jo Tuklo Artistry", and she continues to be
18 actively involved in her family's fourth generation farming and agriculture business; and

1 WHEREAS, she is a successful model who began her modeling career with
2 International Model & Talent Agency in Los Angeles and continues actively building her
3 personal brand within the industry as a spokesmodel and runway and print ad model for
4 numerous nationally and internationally branded companies; and
5 WHEREAS, Ms. Crowe currently has several national and international campaigns
6 that air on major networks such as NBC, ABC, CBS, and FOX; and
7 WHEREAS, Tanya is a cheerleader with the New Orleans Saints Saintsation
8 cheerleading squad and served as captain of the squad last year; and
9 WHEREAS, prior to becoming Miss Louisiana USA in 2021, Ms. Crowe achieved
10 much success in pageants, being previously crowned Miss Tangipahoa Parish Fair Queen
11 in 2012, Miss Louisiana Florida Parishes USA in 2015, Miss Louisiana Northshore USA in
12 2016, Miss Baton Rouge USA 2017, and Miss New Orleans USA 2018, 2019, 2020, & 2021;
13 and
14 WHEREAS, Tanya Lea Crowe is to be congratulated for this tremendous honor and
15 achievement of being crowned Miss Louisiana USA in 2021.
16 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby
17 commend Tanya Lea Crowe for being crowned Miss Louisiana USA 2021 and for her many
18 accomplishments and talents.
19 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that best wishes are hereby extended to Tanya Lea
20 Crowe for continued success in her reign as Miss Louisiana and in all her future endeavors.
21 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
22 Tanya Lea Crowe, Miss Louisiana USA 2021.
