SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 204

COMMENDATIONS. Commends Elizabeth Gatti on being selected as the 2021 Bossier
Parish High School Student of the Year.
1 A RESOLUTION
2 To commend Elizabeth Gatti on being selected as the 2021 Bossier Parish High School
3 Student of the Year.
4 WHEREAS, Elizabeth Gatti is a senior at Airline High School (AHS) in Bossier
5 Parish; and
6 WHEREAS, at AHS, she serves as Student Body President; Editor-in-Chief of the
7 Askalada, the school newspaper; Vice President of the mathematics club, Mu Alpha Theta;
8 team captain of the Twin Cities Elite Volleyball team; a member of the National Arts Honors
9 Society; and a member of the Bobbie Cates Hicks Science and Medicine Academic Research
10 Training Program (SMART); and
11 WHEREAS, her hobbies include playing the piano, volunteering in her community,
12 and participating in mission trips around the world; and
13 WHEREAS, upon graduating, Elizabeth plans to attend Vanderbilt University in
14 Nashville, Tennessee, where she will major in biomedical engineering; and
15 WHEREAS, Elizabeth Gatti has demonstrated a commitment to excellence that is
16 commendable in a person of her age and she is most deserving of the title she has earned as
17 2021 Bossier Parish High School Student of the Year.
18 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana

1 does hereby commend Elizabeth Gatti on being selected as the 2021 Bossier Parish High
2 School Student of the Year.
3 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
4 Elizabeth Gatti.
