1 AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 37:711.12(D)(2), relative to geoscientists; to provide an
3 exemption for geoscientific work performed by an officer or employee of the state;
4 and to provide for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. R.S. 37:711.12(D)(2) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:
7 ยง711.12. License required; exemptions

9 D. The following activities do not require a license under this Chapter:
10 * * *
11 (2) Geoscientific work performed by an officer or employee of this state or
12 of the United States practicing solely as such an officer or employee.
