Present law provides for a list of legal holidays and days of public rest.
Proposed law retains present law and removes Robert E. Lee Day, Confederate Memorial
Day, and President George Washington's birthday as legal holidays. Adds President's Day
as a legal holiday.
(Amends R.S. 1:55(A)(1) and (7), (B)(2), (D), and (E)(1)(a)(i))
