Abstract: Increases the number of licenses for pharmacies dispensing marijuana for therapeutic use.
Present law provides that the La. Board of Pharmacy shall develop a specialty license for pharmacies
dispensing marijuana for therapeutic use. Present law limits the number of such licenses granted in
the state to no more than 10 licenses.
Proposed law changes the limit on the number of licenses from no more than 10 to no more than 20
licenses.
