ACT 625 (HB 431) 2022 Regular Session Jordan
New law provides that DNA obtained by a criminal justice agency from a sexual assault
collection kit shall not be compared with other DNA records for the purpose of investigating
the victim of the sexually-oriented criminal offense who submitted the DNA if that victim
is charged with or suspected of committing any criminal offense.
Effective August 1, 2022.
