RÉSUMÉ DIGEST ACT 565 (HB 434) 2022 Regular Session Phelps Existing law (Ch.C. Art. 801 et seq.) provides for delinquency proceedings. Existing law (Ch.C. Art. 896) provides that any time after the entry of an adjudication order, the court may suspend further proceedings and place the child on supervised or unsupervised probation. New law prohibits deferred dispositional agreements from being available in cases where the child has been convicted of a crime of violence. Effective August 1, 2022. (Adds Ch.C. Art. 896(H))
