Abstract:  Appropriates funds for FY 2022-2023 for expenses of the Louisiana Judiciary, including
the supreme court, courts of appeal, district courts, Criminal Court of Orleans Parish, juvenile and
family courts, and other courts
Appropriates fund for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 for the ordinary operating expenses of the judicial
branch of government with total funding of $196,694,749 from the following sources: $177,060,974
out of the State General Fund (Direct); $9,392,850 out of Interagency Transfers; and $10,240,925
from statutory dedications out of the Judges' Supplemental Compensation Fund and the Trial Court
Case Management Fund.
Funding for the ordinary operating expenses of the judicial branch of government is provided as
follows:
