HIGHWAYS: Designates a portion of Louisiana Highway 133 in Caldwell Parish as the
"Robert L. 'Doc' Owens Memorial Highway"
1 AN ACT
2To designate a portion of Louisiana Highway 133 in Caldwell Parish as the "Robert L. 'Doc'
3 Owens Memorial Highway".
4Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
5 Section 1. The portion of Louisiana Highway 133 in Caldwell Parish shall be known
6and is hereby designated as the "Robert L. 'Doc' Owens Memorial Highway".
7 Section 2. The Department of Transportation and Development or its contractors are
8hereby directed to erect and maintain appropriate signage reflecting this designation
9provided local or private monies are received by the department equal to the department's
10actual costs for material, fabrication, mounting posts, and installation of each sign, not to
11exceed the sum of five hundred fifty dollars per sign.

Directs the Dept. of Transportation and Development (DOTD) to erect and maintain
appropriate signage reflecting this highway designation provided local or private monies are
received by the DOTD equal to its actual costs for material, fabrication, mounting posts, and
installation of each sign, not to exceed the sum of $550 per sign.
