Abstract: Includes off-site locations in the definition of geographic service locations for public or
private behavioral health service providers.
Present law provides for the geographic service locations for public or private behavioral health
service providers to include the parish in which the provider's business office is located, any parish
contiguous to the parish in which the provider's business office is located, and any distance within
a fifty-mile radius of the provider's business office.
Proposed law provides for the geographic service locations for public or private behavioral health
service providers to include the parish in which the provider's business office is located, any parish
contiguous to the parish in which the provider's business office is located, and any distance within
a fifty-mile radius of the provider's business office or off-site location.
