Proposed law retains present law and adds city prosecutors, designated assistant city prosecutors, a U.S. representative from La. and his designated, employed congressional staffer, a U.S. senator from La. and his designated, employed congressional staffer, and retired members of the U.S. Congress to the list of certain active persons who are not prohibited from possessing and concealing a handgun when the person is qualified annually by P.O.S.T.
