Existing law provides for the composition of the La. Commission on Law Enforcement and
Administration of Criminal Justice, and provides for 58 members of the commission.
New law increases the membership to 59 by adding the president of the La. Fraternal Order
of Police as a member.
New law changes the name of one of the members from the La. chapter of the National
Constables Assoc. to the La. City Marshals and City Constables Assoc.
Effective August 1, 2022.
