Abstract: Deducts the co-owners share of the property to be partitioned from the purchase price of
the property.
Present law provides that co-owners may purchase any property or interest therein to effect a
partition.
Proposed law provides that the co-owner shall have his share deducted from the purchase price of
the property or interest in the property.
