Abstract: Removes the definition of "athlete" and defines "athletic injury".
Present law provides definitions for "athlete", "athletic trainer", "board", "board-approved
organization", "BOC", "CAATE", "educational institution", "emergency management", "general
supervision", "physician", "physical rehabilitation", and "practice of prevention".
Proposed law removes the definition of "athlete" from present law.
Proposed law defines "athletic injury".
Proposed law removes "injured athlete" and replaces the term with the proposed law term "athletic
injury", where applicable, in present law.
