BY REPRESENTATIVES SELDERS, CARPENTER, FREIBERG, AND MCKNIGHT
1 AN ACT
2 To enact R.S. 17:3351.22, relative to university laboratory schools; to authorize a tuition
3 increase at certain laboratory schools; to provide a maximum increase amount; and
4 to provide for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. R.S. 17:3351.22 is hereby enacted to read as follows:
7 ยง3351.22. Louisiana State University Laboratory School; tuition; increase; amounts
8 In addition to the authority granted by any other provision of law and in
9 accordance with Article VII, Section 2.1 of the Constitution of Louisiana, the Board
10 of Supervisors of Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical
11 College may increase the amount of tuition charged per student at the university
12 laboratory school by the following amounts:
13 (1) For the 2023-2024 school year and thereafter, by an amount not to
14 exceed five hundred dollars.
15 (2) For the 2024-2025 school year and thereafter, by an additional amount
16 not to exceed five hundred dollars.
