1. Remove authorization for tuition increase at Southern University Laboratory School.
Digest of the bill as proposed by the Conference Committee
Proposed law authorizes the LSU board of supervisors to increase the amount of tuition charged per
student at the LSU lab school as follows:
(1)For the 2023-2024 school year and thereafter, by an amount not to exceed $500.
(2)For the 2024-2025 school year and thereafter, by an additional amount not to exceed $500.
