RACING/HORSE: Provides relative to licenses issued by the Louisiana State Racing
Commission.
DIGEST
Present law authorizes the La. State Racing Commission (commission) to issue licenses to
owners, trainers, jockeys, riders, and various other occupations relative to horse racing.
Proposed law retains present law.
Under present law a license issued by the commission remains active for a period of not more
than one year.
Proposed law extends this period from not more than one year to not more than three years.
Effective June 30, 2022.
(Amends R.S. 4:150(A) and 169(A)(3))
