Urges and requests the La. State Police to work in conjunction with the La. office of motor vehicles,
the La. Dept. of Transportation and Development, and the La. Motor Transport Association to study
the feasibility of updating the process and applicable fees for the inspection of all commercial motor
vehicles required to be inspected under the provisions of federal law. Requires the La. State Police,
in conjunction with the La. office of motor vehicles, the La. Dept. of Transportation and
Development, and the La. Motor Transport Association, submit a report detailing the results of the
study to the La. House of Representatives by Feb. 1, 2023.
