HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 48
BY REPRESENTATIVES GAROFALO AND SCHEXNAYDER
CONDOLENCES:  Expresses condolences on the death of Connor Joseph Lambert
1	A RESOLUTION
2To express the condolences of the House of Representatives upon the death of Connor
3 Joseph Lambert.
4 WHEREAS, it is with immense sadness and profound regret that the House of
5Representatives has learned of the tragic and untimely passing, on March 22, 2022, of
6Connor Joseph Lambert; and
7 WHEREAS, Connor was born on February 17, 1997, to Robert Joseph Lambert and
8Tonya Sheppard Lambert; he was a native of St. Bernard Parish and a graduate of Chalmette
9High School; and
10 WHEREAS, Mr. Lambert was a truly gifted young man who excelled both
11academically and athletically; he was a National Merit Scholar and also a standout athlete
12during his time in high school; he went on to earn a bachelor of science degree in mechanical
13engineering at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and afterwards, he began working
14in the aerospace and dynamics division at Stennis Space Center in Hancock County,
15Mississippi; and
16 WHEREAS, Connor was an exceptional individual; he is best remembered for his
17humor, charm, compassion, and vibrant personality; he always looked after the people he
18loved most and took especially close care of his beloved puppy, Aska; and
19 WHEREAS, Connor Joseph Lambert leaves to cherish his memory his parents,
20Tonya Sheppard Lambert and Robert Joseph Lambert; brother, Kaleb Lambert, and his wife
21Paige; sister, Callie Lambert; grandparents, Sue and Henry Sheppard, and Mary Angela and

1Robert Lambert, Sr.; godfather, Tracy Morgan, and his wife Linda; godmother, Shelley
2Lambert Ducote; godchild, Axel Ducote; and a host of extended family and friends; he will
3be deeply missed but his spirit will live on in the memories of those who knew and loved
4him.
5 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
6Legislature of Louisiana does hereby express heartfelt condolences on the death of Connor
7Joseph Lambert and does hereby extend sincerest wishes that his family finds comfort in one
8another during this incredibly difficult time.
9 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the
10family of Connor Joseph Lambert.
