ENROLLED 2022 Regular Session HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 48 BY REPRESENTATIVES GAROFALO AND SCHEXNAYDER A RESOLUTION To express the condolences of the House of Representatives upon the death of Connor Joseph Lambert. WHEREAS, it is with immense sadness and profound regret that the House of Representatives has learned of the tragic and untimely passing, on March 22, 2022, of Connor Joseph Lambert; and WHEREAS, Connor was born on February 17, 1997, to Robert Joseph Lambert and Tonya Sheppard Lambert; he was a native of St. Bernard Parish and a graduate of Chalmette High School; and WHEREAS, Mr. Lambert was a truly gifted young man who excelled both academically and athletically; he was a National Merit Scholar and also a standout athlete during his time in high school; he went on to earn a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and afterwards, he began working in the aerospace and dynamics division at Stennis Space Center in Hancock County, Mississippi; and WHEREAS, Connor was an exceptional individual; he is best remembered for his humor, charm, compassion, and vibrant personality; he always looked after the people he loved most and took especially close care of his beloved puppy, Aska; and WHEREAS, Connor Joseph Lambert leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Tonya Sheppard Lambert and Robert Joseph Lambert; brother, Kaleb Lambert, and his wife Paige; sister, Callie Lambert; grandparents, Sue and Henry Sheppard, and Mary Angela and Robert Lambert, Sr.; godfather, Tracy Morgan, and his wife Linda; godmother, Shelley Lambert Ducote; godchild, Axel Ducote; and a host of extended family and friends; he will Page 1 of 2 HR NO. 48 ENROLLED be deeply missed but his spirit will live on in the memories of those who knew and loved him. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby express heartfelt condolences on the death of Connor Joseph Lambert and does hereby extend sincerest wishes that his family finds comfort in one another during this incredibly difficult time.
