DRIVER EDUCATION. Exempts certain visa holders from Louisiana driver education

1 AN ACT
2 To enact R.S. 32:402.1(A)(3), relative to driver education; to provide an exemption for
3 certain visa holders from driver education requirements; and to provide for related
4 matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. R.S. 32:402.1(A)(3) is hereby enacted to read as follows:
7 ยง402.1. Driver education; required

9 (3) Foreign nationals in Louisiana under an H-2A Visa that possess a
10 valid foreign driver's license are exempt from prelicensing training course and
11 driver's education course requirements.
