Existing law provides that no person shall open, establish, operate, or maintain a pharmacy
located within Louisiana unless the pharmacy is issued a permit by the La. Board of
Pharmacy.
New law retains existing law.
Prior law provided that the pharmacy permit shall be conspicuously displayed in the place
for which the permit was granted.
New law repeals prior law.
Effective August 1, 2022.
