Present law provides certain exceptions to the crime of illegal carrying of weapons.
Proposed law retains present law and adds an exception for retired judges of federal courts,
retired United States attorneys, retired assistant United States attorneys, and retired federal
investigators.
Effective upon signature of governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action.
