Prior law provided certain exceptions to the crime of illegal carrying of weapons.
New law retains prior law and adds an exception for retired judges of federal courts, retired
United States attorneys, retired assistant United States attorneys, and retired federal
investigators.
Effective upon signature of the governor (May 26, 2022).
