HEALTH CARE.  Provides relative to privacy of immunization status. (8/1/22)
1	AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 40:31.2, relative to privacy protections for health data; to provide
3 for the privacy of an individual's immunization status; and to provide for related
4 matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1.  R.S. 40:31.2 is hereby enacted to read as follows:
7 ยง31.2.  Privacy protection of immunization status
8	Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, no person shall be
9 required to disclose his immunization status to any state entity, local or
10 municipal body, or city or parish school board for any purpose including but
11 not limited to a requirement for entry, employment, attendance, admittance, or
12 as otherwise adopted or implemented in a manner that restricts access or
13 opportunity.
