SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 128
BY SENATOR FIELDS 
COMMENDATIONS.  Commends Christian Chew on graduating from Liberty High School
of Baton Rouge.
1	A RESOLUTION
2 To congratulate Christian Chew on graduating from Liberty High School of Baton Rouge
3 and to commend him on his many accomplishments.
4 WHEREAS, graduating from high school is an important milestone in a student's life
5 that signifies success in academics and achievement of one's goals; and
6 WHEREAS, graduating from high school is one of the most important indicators of
7 future success in life, including employment prospects, income potential, and overall health;
8 and
9 WHEREAS, Christian Chew is set to graduate from Liberty High School of Baton
10 Rouge on May 17, 2022, and it is appropriate to commend him for all of his
11 accomplishments throughout his high school career; and 
12 WHEREAS, Christian has worked diligently in school to prepare himself for his
13 future endeavors; and
14 WHEREAS, Christian's most recent accomplishments were receiving the Plaque of
15 Completion in his engineering course and becoming a certified inventor; and
16 WHEREAS, Christian also served as the Sergeant at Arms at the Louisiana
17 Leadership Institute where he has contributed to their mission of building leadership,
18 improving academic skills, and increasing self esteem and motivation in students of the

1 Greater Baton Rouge Metro area; and
2 WHEREAS, Christian will attend Southern University Agricultural and Mechanical
3 College and plans to major in mechanical engineering and minor in finance; and
4 WHEREAS, Christian Chew exemplifies the very best of students in the Class of
5 2022 and his future holds incredible promise; and
6 WHEREAS, through his academic achievements and his involvement with the
7 Louisiana Leadership Institute, Christian has formed a solid foundation which will serve him
8 well in his future endeavors.
9 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
10 does hereby commend and congratulate Christian Chew on becoming a 2022 Liberty High
11 School graduate.
12 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
13 Christian Chew.
