SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 159
BY SENATORS STINE AND ABRAHAM 
A RESOLUTION
To commend the Barbe High School girls golf team on defending its title at the Louisiana
High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) 2022 Division I State Girls Golf
Championship.
WHEREAS, winning the state championship was the culmination of another
unforgettable season; and
WHEREAS, the Barbe girls golf team dominated the field at The Wetlands Golf
Club in Lafayette, Louisiana, to defend its title as the LHSAA Division I Girls State Golf
Team Champion; and
WHEREAS, the Lady Bucs finished with a two-day team score of three hundred
twenty-nine, thirteen strokes ahead of the runner-up team from Dutchtown; and
WHEREAS, the team was comprised of juniors Isabella Bradley and Isabella Callaba
and senior Sadie Guillory; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Bradley finished fourth individually with a two-day total of one
hundred sixty-one strokes; Ms. Callaba finished eighth individually with a two-day total of
one hundred sixty-nine strokes; and Ms. Guillory finished eighteenth individually with a
two-day total of one hundred eighty-three strokes; and
WHEREAS, this amazing accomplishment was made possible by many hours of
practice and dedication from the players and the enthusiasm and support of Barbe Head
Coach Bob Corley and Assistant Coach Sid Bradley; and
WHEREAS, the Barbe High School girls golf program upheld the proud traditions
of golf during the 2022 season and Barbe High School alumni and fans recognize the
immense pride and distinguished honor the state championship title brings to the school,
community, and state.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
does hereby commend the Barbe High School girls golf team on defending its title at the
Louisiana High School Athletic Association 2022 Division I State Girls Golf Championship.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the
principal of Barbe High School.
