SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 225

COMMENDATIONS. Commends Ms. Pat Rusk, RN on twenty-two years of dedicated
service to the Capitol First Aid Station.
1 A RESOLUTION
2 To commend Ms. Pat Rusk, RN on twenty-two years of dedicated service to the Capitol
3 First Aid Station.
4 WHEREAS, on May 23, 2022, Ms. Rusk completed her last shift at the First Aid
5 Station during the 2022 Regular Session of the Louisiana Legislature; and
6 WHEREAS, Ms. Rusk received her registered nursing license in December of 1957;
7 and
8 WHEREAS, Ms. Rusk has been a registered nurse for over sixty-five years and
9 worked continuously before retiring in 1998 from the Baton Rouge General Medical Center;
10 and
11 WHEREAS, Ms. Rusk began working in the Capitol First Aid Station in 2000; and
12 WHEREAS, Ms. Rusk has provided quality nursing care to visitors to the State
13 Capitol for the past twenty-two years.
14 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
15 does hereby commend Ms. Pat Rusk for her years of dedicated nursing service in the Capitol
16 First Aid Station and does hereby further extend the sincerest best wishes to Ms. Rusk in her
17 retirement.
18 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
