CONDOLENCES. Expresses sincere and heartfelt condolences upon the tragic death of
Devin Jamal Page Jr.
1 A RESOLUTION
2 To express sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family of Devin Jamal Page Jr.
3 WHEREAS, Devin Jamal Page Jr. was killed as a result of tragic and senseless
4 violence while sleeping at home in his bed; and
5 WHEREAS, Devin, a three year old native of Baton Rouge, was the son of Tye
6 Toliver and Devin Page Sr.; and
7 WHEREAS, Devin is survived by his maternal grandparents, Cathy Toliver (Eric
8 Richard); and Gene Toliver; his paternal grandparents, Francis and Izile Vessel Jr.; and
9 siblings, Tyren King Young, Deiyauna Page, Khloe Page, Kylon Golden, and Bentley
10 Walker; and numerous aunts and uncles, friends and relatives; and
11 WHEREAS, while on this earth, Devin was a joy to behold and was loved by many
12 who will miss his warm smile.
13 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
14 does hereby extend heartfelt and sincere condolences to the family of Devin Jamal Page Jr.
15 on the occasion of his tragic passing.
16 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the
17 family of Devin Jamal Page Jr.
