Abstract: Provides an exception to state park size requirements for an area within Lafourche Parish.
Present law provides criteria for the designation of property as a state park, including a minimum
size requirement.
Present law contains exceptions for the state park size requirements for parks already in the park
system and parks in Caddo Parish and Bossier Parish.
Proposed law adds an additional exception for parks located within Township 23 South - Range 22
East and Township 23 South - Range 23 East in Lafourche Parish.
