PROPERTY:  Provides for an annual audit for certain homeowners associations
1	AN ACT
2To enact R.S. 9:1141.10, relative to homeowners associations; to provide for annual audits;
3 to provide for limitations; to provide for delivery; and to provide for related matters.
4Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
5 Section 1.  R.S. 9:1141.10 is hereby enacted to read as follows: 
6 ยง1141.10.  Annual audits
7	Every homeowners association composed of twenty-five or more lot owners
8 shall have an audit of its books and accounts conducted annually by an independent
9 certified public accountant. A copy of the audit shall be forwarded to all lot owners
10 via electronic mail delivery or through United States regular mail or made available
11 for inspection by any lot owner.
